The Gifts of Giving

G is for Giving

Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread your love everywhere you go.
Mother Teresa

I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.
Maya Angelou

Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.
Lao Tzu

Since you get more joy out of giving joy to others, you should put a good deal of thought into the happiness that you are able to give.
Eleanor Roosevelt

Life is given to us, we earn it by giving it.
Rabindranath Tagore

  2. Fantastic post. I love giving my crochet items to charity. To see a persons face light up when they get something warm for the winter is all the thanks I need. We all need to be more giving. Kindness breeds kindness. Giving all year around is wonderful.

  3. Don't you wish we, as a culture, could hold on that Christmas feeling 12 months a year? I know I do.
