The great thing about the complementary approaches is you can use them instead of traditional medicine, or in conjunction with it - whichever works better for you. And when the answer is "it's God's will" the complementary approaches can continue to be helpful once it's been decided traditional medicine can't do any more for you.
DeleteExcellent! The simplest answers are often overlooked and/or discredited, though my view is that the body, mind, and spirit hold the ability for enormous healing, if only we give them the chance.
ReplyDeleteAmen sister! Unfortunately folks are often deterred from accessing the complementary approaches because of costs. Our Canadian health care system will not pay for these (except for a mere pittance towards chiro treatment) but it WILL pay for our hospital stay once we get sick. Until our governments recognize the value of prevention, we'll have to keep paying out of pocket to stay healthy.
