Phew! I did it.

I did it!

The April A-Z challenge was an awesome opportunity to connect with other bloggers, find great new blogs to follow and hone up on my posting skills.    I have to admit though, I'm glad it's over.  Thirty posts in thirty days is tough for me to sustain.  In non-April months I'm not usually online on a daily basis, so I'm happy to revert back to my pre-challenge posting schedule of once per week (sometimes more, sometimes less, depending on life).

The main focus of my future posts will continue to be the healing energy arts, though I plan to cast my idea-net a little wider.  Later this month I will be attending the 14th World Congress on Qigong and hope to learn some great stuff I can share with you.  In the meantime, if you have any questions about Reiki, Tai Chi, Qigong, Shamballa or Sound Therapy, please leave a comment on this post.  I'll do my best to answer it for you.

  1. Congratulations on finishing the A-Z Challenge. Bear, being a bit slower, is getting ready to post on R. I will finish the Challenge. Even though life has interfered.

When I was on my chronic pain management course, I got an introduction to tai chi. I'm going to look further into it. The combination of discipline and flow I find quite fascinating.

    1. And congratulations to bear for not giving up! I'll be by to read the rest of your a- z.

Tai Chi is a very helpful tool in managing chronic pain. So is Qi Gong. Right now I'm learning a new Qi Gong routine that is specifically designed to alleviate back pain and strengthen the back.

  3. I enjoyed meeting new bloggers, too and am looking forward to reading your 'usual' posts. I don't have any questions at the moment, but am very interested in these subjects, especially Reiki and Sound Therapy -I asked for and was given a singing bowl for Christmas, it has such a lovely tone.

    1. I'll be sure to do some posts on Reiki and Sound Therapy. Aren't singing bowls wonderful? Want to try your own sound therapy? Place the bowl somewhere on your body and get it singing. If it won't sing, then gently and quickly tap the bowl instead to get a gonging sound. Do this for 3 - 5 minutes then remove the bowl. Pay attention to how your body feels, especially where the bowl was sitting. Have fun!

  9. Congratulations, fellow Challenger! Wasn't this a ride, this year! I totally had to play it eclectic because all my plans for pre-scheduled posts went belly-up. Now, I'm working on visiting everyone on my list and filling in the comments. At least, that gives me something to do for the next six months! Come visit when you can.
